Xiang Chen is currently an assistant professor in College of Electrical and Information Engineering at Hunan University, working with Prof. Min Liu and Prof. Yaonan Wang.
I received my B.S. degree in Electronics and Information Engineering in 2016 and the M.S. degree in Communication and Information System in 2019, both from Sichuan University (SCU), Chengdu, China. I was a member of the Image Information Institute of Sichuan University during my postgraduate studies. In 2023, I completed my PhD at the CISTIB research group in University of Leeds , where I was supervised by Prof. Alejandro F Frangi , Dr. Nishant Ravikumar and Dr. Yan Xia.
My research is focused on Medical Image Analysis, Computer Vision, Mesh Reconstuction, Medical Image Registration and Medical Image Segmentation.
Currently, I am looking for excellent postgraduate students who are intersted in medical image analysis and computer vision. If you are interested, please don’t hesitate to shoot me an email.
